So we went to the Jackson City Zoo this year. These are some of the animals we got to see. I felt sorry for the animals. You could tell the zoo was in need of a major update and expansion. The animals have very little room to move. I am so thankful for the few times my older children got to go th the Hogle Zoo in Salt Lake. The Jackson Zoo made the Hogle Zoo look like a Marriot.

Katelyne's big year

Well this year Katelyne turned 8. As members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter  Day Saints it means you are baptized. Katelyne was so excited. Both of her grandmothers made her a dress for the occasion. Grandma Trish made the dress for the actual baptism and grandma Lynnette made the dress for the confirmation. Both dresses were gorgeous!!! Katelyne loved them. The actual date of her baptism changed a few times with church scheduling issues but on August 6, 2010 and 6:oo Katelyne became an offical member of the church. It was nice to have both set of grandpartents able to make the trek across country to be there. We missed all you family members that were not here in person but in spirit.

Snow Day?

Growing up I never missed school for a snow day. We move to Mississippi and my kids get to experience a snow day. It doesn't happen very often I am told but when it does like today the whole place shuts down. People freak out on the roads with a 1/2 inch pile of snow. Ben found it hilarious on his way to work today. These where taken at 6:30 AM

This is what happens when little boys play with their fathers.

Ben and Dyaln were out with the dog. They had been out playing and Dylan had decided he wanted to come home. He didn't however want to walk because he had fallen and scraped his knees. So up onto dads shoulders. On the way back somehow daddy tripped. Down they both went. Dylan just landed on his face. They come rushing into the house both covered in blood. Dad's face white as can be. Dylan was in histerics, especially after he saw his face in the mirror. Just some major road rash, since he fell on the asphalt, a few gashes and a swollen lip. Ben wanted to be sure no stitches were needed so we go see the doctor. Luckily they live in the ward and were willing to help. Nothing serious. We then head over to Jared and Jenny's, first because D boy wanted to go all day and second for a blessing. We get there and Katelyne wants to see daddy's injuries. Remember he fell too. So daddy pulls up his pant leg to show his scuffed knee. Dylan sees it and says " I'm sorry daddy". How sweet is that he is the one with all the injury and he is apologizing to his father. All is well this morning. So much for family pictures this Christmas. Sorry family that was going to be your gift. Anonther time. Love you all. Merry Christmas!!!

Halloween 2009 coustumes made by mom

This is this years crazy sewing projects. For halloween decided to add to the already made Dorthy and scarecrow costumes. I made the twins a tin man and glinda costume. I had the crown all made and when we went to go trick or treating I couldn't find it. The pictures aren't the best our camera and camera operatetor where having some issues. The other two kids got home from trick or treating and striped otherwise I would have picture of them too. We had a blast at our wards trunk or treating. They had each of the trunks have a game in order to earn your treat. It was great! My kids are amoung the very shy and so we came home with half the omount we usually have. Sucks for me but whatever. We get home the big kids jump right into their buckets. Austin sees and thinks that looks great. Our of his 12 pieces of candy he ate all 12 that night. So to bed they went on a massive sugar high. Brooklyne wouldn't even let go of her bucket. All through treating she held onto it with all her might. She didn't care to much for her wand but the bucket was not to be taken. We all had a blast. We will see what craziness I decide to do next year for halloween.

Well I haven't got the internet to upload any new pictures. Ben and I are getting settled slowly here in Mississippi. The weather really hasn't been as bad as I expected. The highs have been around 88 with a little humidity. We have been receiving alot of rain which the kids think ins't fair since we can't take advantage of the swimming pool. Our apartment is not to small but not real big, the kids and I get a little stir crazy. The kids are injoying their cousins here but miss the ones in Utah. I miss being home, the mountains and the family. I need to give Mississippi a little more of an effort. So far it the same crap different place. The people all seem to be pretty nice. the ward is great, very welcoming. No calling as of yet I am keeping my fingers crossed on that one. The Boone family have been very accepting of the new Sanders to their little family which has been nice. As soon as I get the internet at my place I will update you with pictures from Destin and here. Love you all.

Here is the newest family picture. My oh my how time flies by. The twins are now 6 months old.
The past 2 years have been crazy. We started 2007 out like any other year. Both Ben and I have callings in the ward, making new friends in the neighborhood. I decided to start my MaryKay business the middle of January. Life was simple. March comes along and Ben hears rumors at work (Johnny Carinos) that the will be opening 3 stores in Las Vegas. He was wanting to get to the next position in his job and one of the ways to do that was to become a GM of another location . So we hop in the car and drive to Vegas to check things out. While there we get a good feeling about the move as long as the company would meet certain demands. We come home and let Brent (Bens regional manager) that he is interested. The meet the demands and we start looking forward to the move. In August we head down to Vegas again and start to look for a place to live. The 1st Vegas location was to open beginning of October. Ben would have to be there to help train and hire for his store (opening in December) while helping out with the opening of 1st location. Well the opening gets pushed back, so we decided it was time to try for a baby. Nothing happens in September, lets try again. October we try and in November our wishes are answered. Meanwhile Ben has been getting the prompting to forget about Carinos and go back to school. He really didn't have that much longer until he had his degree. He tells me about it, I pray, and sure enough this is the next step we should do. So Ben lets Brent know and he lets Ben know he will let him stay on a as manager in the Sandy store with a guaranteed 40 hours at 21 dollars an hour. Not bad for him to be able to continue to work and go to school. Well by this time we have found our we are having the twins. I start to freak out. How are we going to afford a place to stay. All the apartments that would fit us were to much and we had over stayed our welcome at moms. Boy does the Lord watch out for you when you follow Him. My cousin had been living in my grandmothers home and her husband got a job out of state. At first she would continue teaching until the school year was done, but then they would be separated for over 4 months and having to pay rent in 2 places. So the house was going to be empty. Well I just asked if it would be a possibility for us to move in. Well the family said it would be OK. So February 2008 we move to Springville, UT, now remember I am 4 months pregnant. We move in and get settled into the house. Nothing all that exciting happens except a very jumpy pregnant woman who spend a couple of nights here and there at the hospital. (I though my water broke- no just peeing my pants, and a fall down the back patio steps) The babies were due July 17th, my doctor just wanted to get me to 36 weeks-which by the way would be June 19. So after a long night at the hospital checking to see that the babies were fine after my fall, and my NST the following morning (my parents had taken the kids overnight) I head to my moms to get the kids. While unloading my car I feel this wet and I think Great I'm peeing my pants again. So over the next couple of hours I keep checking my pants (which by the way I had peed through-so I thought) I would ask my mom should I go to the doctors now or wait until my appointment (that day) at 1:30. We decided I should call my ob and he says I could come and get checked out or just go to the hospital. My mom decides we had better just go see the doctor. We get there and no I haven't peed my paint my water broke and I was dilated to a 4. Well lets just say June 16 the twins came into the world. I spent the next 4 days in Orem community (where I delivered) the babies spent the next 4 weeks in the NICU at UVRMC (where they had to be transferred for some minor complications). We brought the babies home July 13 and have not had a decent night sleep since. Life with 4 kids 6 and under has been a challenge and a joy. So lets add a little more stress to an already stressful life. Ben keeps getting wind of bad things happening with Carinos and decides it is time to quit. I start to freak out. I understand now it was the right thing to do but it is still hard living from paycheck to paycheck or tips to tips since Ben is going to school and working as a server at Outback. I just wonder what in the world the Lord has in store for us for the year 2009. I guess we will just have to wait and see.

Since my sister has yet to give me my copies I had to use hers. Aren't they growing so fast. 4months and growing.
This is a picture of Dylan's cake.
This year we decided to go camping for Dylan's birthday. We had barrowed the in-laws trailer and the kids wanted to spend the night in it. We loaded all 6 of us up and head up AF canyon. Ben couldn't keep Dylan from adding wood to the fire. I have a little pyro on my hands.
