Here is the newest family picture. My oh my how time flies by. The twins are now 6 months old.
The past 2 years have been crazy. We started 2007 out like any other year. Both Ben and I have callings in the ward, making new friends in the neighborhood. I decided to start my MaryKay business the middle of January. Life was simple. March comes along and Ben hears rumors at work (Johnny Carinos) that the will be opening 3 stores in Las Vegas. He was wanting to get to the next position in his job and one of the ways to do that was to become a GM of another location . So we hop in the car and drive to Vegas to check things out. While there we get a good feeling about the move as long as the company would meet certain demands. We come home and let Brent (Bens regional manager) that he is interested. The meet the demands and we start looking forward to the move. In August we head down to Vegas again and start to look for a place to live. The 1st Vegas location was to open beginning of October. Ben would have to be there to help train and hire for his store (opening in December) while helping out with the opening of 1st location. Well the opening gets pushed back, so we decided it was time to try for a baby. Nothing happens in September, lets try again. October we try and in November our wishes are answered. Meanwhile Ben has been getting the prompting to forget about Carinos and go back to school. He really didn't have that much longer until he had his degree. He tells me about it, I pray, and sure enough this is the next step we should do. So Ben lets Brent know and he lets Ben know he will let him stay on a as manager in the Sandy store with a guaranteed 40 hours at 21 dollars an hour. Not bad for him to be able to continue to work and go to school. Well by this time we have found our we are having the twins. I start to freak out. How are we going to afford a place to stay. All the apartments that would fit us were to much and we had over stayed our welcome at moms. Boy does the Lord watch out for you when you follow Him. My cousin had been living in my grandmothers home and her husband got a job out of state. At first she would continue teaching until the school year was done, but then they would be separated for over 4 months and having to pay rent in 2 places. So the house was going to be empty. Well I just asked if it would be a possibility for us to move in. Well the family said it would be OK. So February 2008 we move to Springville, UT, now remember I am 4 months pregnant. We move in and get settled into the house. Nothing all that exciting happens except a very jumpy pregnant woman who spend a couple of nights here and there at the hospital. (I though my water broke- no just peeing my pants, and a fall down the back patio steps) The babies were due July 17th, my doctor just wanted to get me to 36 weeks-which by the way would be June 19. So after a long night at the hospital checking to see that the babies were fine after my fall, and my NST the following morning (my parents had taken the kids overnight) I head to my moms to get the kids. While unloading my car I feel this wet and I think Great I'm peeing my pants again. So over the next couple of hours I keep checking my pants (which by the way I had peed through-so I thought) I would ask my mom should I go to the doctors now or wait until my appointment (that day) at 1:30. We decided I should call my ob and he says I could come and get checked out or just go to the hospital. My mom decides we had better just go see the doctor. We get there and no I haven't peed my paint my water broke and I was dilated to a 4. Well lets just say June 16 the twins came into the world. I spent the next 4 days in Orem community (where I delivered) the babies spent the next 4 weeks in the NICU at UVRMC (where they had to be transferred for some minor complications). We brought the babies home July 13 and have not had a decent night sleep since. Life with 4 kids 6 and under has been a challenge and a joy. So lets add a little more stress to an already stressful life. Ben keeps getting wind of bad things happening with Carinos and decides it is time to quit. I start to freak out. I understand now it was the right thing to do but it is still hard living from paycheck to paycheck or tips to tips since Ben is going to school and working as a server at Outback. I just wonder what in the world the Lord has in store for us for the year 2009. I guess we will just have to wait and see.

Since my sister has yet to give me my copies I had to use hers. Aren't they growing so fast. 4months and growing.
This is a picture of Dylan's cake.
This year we decided to go camping for Dylan's birthday. We had barrowed the in-laws trailer and the kids wanted to spend the night in it. We loaded all 6 of us up and head up AF canyon. Ben couldn't keep Dylan from adding wood to the fire. I have a little pyro on my hands.

Here is my precious kindergartener. This is this years picture. I can't believe how fast she is growing up!!!!

Well now look at me I'm 3. Time seems to fly by so darn fast.

Both are bottle feeding great Austin is doing a little better. Both have gained and surpassed their birth weight. We can't wait until they are out of the NICU and with us at home.

Baby update: Both babies are now off breathing machines. Brooklyne is starving so Ben is transporting milk from Lisa to the babies. They are growing stronger by the minute.

Lisa is getting around well. As of this morning she hasn't taken any pain medications for her pain. Which is great for having a c-section!
